DIFFUSER PIPE:

• A diffuser is a device that utilizes a part of kinetic energy of the fluid passing through the machine by gradually increasing the cross sectional area.
• Diffuser pipe provide energy dissipation and modification of the noise spectrum for easier attenuation
• Diffuser creates a back pressure on the valve
• By increasing pressure drop at the inlet diffuser does not affect the required diameter of the vent silencer
• Operating pressure is directly proportional to the mass flow through the diffuser

CHAMBER:

• A chamber is an expansion unit or section
• Chamber is a setup where the fluid flow enters the acoustic infill
  absorption area

SHELL:

• Shell is designed based on the mass flow rate of the steam
• Shell thickness maximum 6 to 8 mm
• Materials used for shell are SA516 GR70, SA36, SA240 TP304 based on
  design and customer requirement.
